What is a Playcard?
You can use a Playcard to play the £1 Health Lottery Big Win game at participating retail locations.
There are 2 types of Playcard:
Blue: This is for the £1 Big Win game; it stores your numbers so you just have to give it to the person serving you in the retailer and they can swipe it to buy your ticket really quickly. The card can store up to 10 lines of chosen numbers.
The blue Playcard can also be registered online for our reward scheme which offers exclusive online offers and bonuses on future Health Lottery Big Win purchases made online and in store.
Red: The red Playcard is also for the £1 Big Win game and can be used if you don’t want to pick your own numbers, the retailer can scan the barcode to produce a Quick Pick ticket for one line in the next available draw. If you want more than one line or more than one draw just tell the retailer and they’ll give you the ticket you want.
How do I store my numbers on my blue Playcard?
You add your numbers when you activate your Playcard. There’re a few easy ways to do this.
Any of the 20,000 participating retailers can do it for you. Click here to find your nearest retailer https://www.healthlottery.co.uk/retailers/ or you can ring the Health Lottery helpline on 0330 3902289* to register your chosen numbers and activate card.

Can I register more than one card to my account?
Only one Playcard per account can be registered and the card is not transferrable to any other person; accrued bonus credit may not be transferred between Playcards.
Can I change the chosen numbers on my Playcard after I have registered?
Yes, of course. Simply login to your account, here the details can be updated in the ‘Playcard’ section. Updates to a player’s Playcard lottery numbers are reflected immediately in store. For the avoidance of doubt this means that if a player changes their Playcard lottery numbers online and then purchases tickets in store using the Playcard, the updated lottery numbers will be selected.
Can I register a new card in the event of loss or damage to the card I already have?
Yes, however when a replacement card is added, any accrued bonus credit held against the original card will be lost therefore we recommend you keep the card in a safe place. If a player deactivates their Playcard, all stored lottery numbers, accrued credit and purchase history associated with the Playcard will be removed and cannot be restored.
How do I receive bonus awards and special offers?
Information regarding special offers will be emailed to you; these may require you to make a specified amount of entries using your Playcard within a defined period to qualify for the offer.
Once eligible entries have been completed you may receive a bonus award to your online wallet to enable you to make online entries or you could receive a coupon to redeem at retail. This will depend on the current offer.
Can I use the bonus credit to play Instant Win games?
Bonus credit accrued from retail play can only be used to make online entries into the Health Lottery draw game; it cannot be used to purchase Instant Win games or withdrawn for cash and there is no cash alternative.
Can I check the transactions I have made at retail using the Playcard?
Yes, login into your account, select My Play History. You can filter by date to locate specific transactions. Here you will see the date of purchase and amount spent.
If I win a prize from a retail ticket purchased using the card I have registered for online can I collect my winnings electronically via the online account?
If you purchased your ticket in one of our retailers you can claim prizes of up to £50 in any one of them.
If you’ve been lucky enough to win over £50, you’ll need to call the Health Lottery Helpline on 0330 3902289*, where our team are on hand to support you. They will help you with arrangements to collect your prize and anything else you need to know.
*Calls to The Health Lottery Helpline will be charged at local call rate.
How do I claim prizes associated with entries made online using the bonus credit?
You will be asked to enter a GB registered debit card when you make your first online entry using a bonus credit; this is required to enable you to withdraw any prizes from your wallet back to the card.
